Much of Paul’s work focuses on capturing the spirit of a place through colour & shape. This painting belongs to the Mallorca collection, a body of work created in response to time spent on the Spanish island over the last 5 years.
Paul rotates the canvas whist painting, creating a piece that is hasn’t had an orientation applied to it at the start. Once finished there is sometimes an obvious way it should be hung, or sometimes not. This painting can be hung portrait or landscape, and Paul’s signature is curved to accommodate this.
